Spread Peace USA is a veteran-founded nonprofit dedicated to helping homeless and at-risk veterans rebuild their lives with dignity, stability, and hope.

We believe that no one who served our country should be left without a safe place to live, essential resources, or a supportive community. By connecting veterans with practical assistance, trusted organizations, and compassionate individuals, Spread Peace helps create pathways from homelessness to lasting independence.

Our mission goes beyond meeting immediate needs. We work to restore hope, strengthen communities, and inspire people everywhere to turn compassion into action. Through partnerships, outreach, advocacy, and direct support, we are building a movement that reminds every veteran they are valued, respected, and never forgotten.

Together, we can spread peace, restore dignity, and help those who served move toward a brighter future.

Backpacks for the Homeless

Our convenient, versatile backpacks are uniquely designed to meet the needs of people experiencing homelessness. Each backpack includes a built-in poncho and is filled with essential items such as clean socks, nutritious food, and plenty of love.

Volunteer to help us fill and distribute backpacks, donate to help us reach more people, or become a Cyber Advocate and spread the word online. Together, we can provide comfort, dignity, and hope to those who need it most.

Spread Peace USA will provide support, help promote your team on social media, and welcome you into our private volunteer community, where you can connect, share ideas, and learn from others across the country.

There are no fees or special requirements—just a passion for helping others and spreading peace in your community.

This is Portland, Oregon. It's few blocks from the bridge downtown where all the homeless people hang out. We were out handing out foodShe really touched us and many of the volunteers. We did get her place to stay but it was only for a few days .
