Bead Bracelets for a Cause

My passion is helping the homeless. I am making these bracelets and donating 50% of the profits to the homeless. We have no paid staff so every dollar of every donation goes 100% to help the homeless. When I was a child, growing up in Los Angeles in the ’80s, we had homeless people sleeping on our front lawn. As a child, we are naturally compassionate. I wanted to feed them and gi ve them a home. My mom allowed me to be compassionate and we would bring them food. I remember telling my mom when I grew up I would create a program where everyone would have a home.

When I met my husband, Chris, we decided make helping the homeless a big part of our life together. We began making lunches and passing them out. We got to know them and their needs. Pretty soon people from Facebook were joining us and SpreadPeace.org was born, a 5013c3 non-profit.

That was ten years ago and SpreadPeace.org has been successful in helping the homeless on the streets in many states. We bring them tents, water, blankets and other items of need. 

 Fifty percents of all proceeds go to help the homeless.
